Send real postcards from your iPhone

An on-demand printing company, Amazing Mail, which has integrated two iPhone apps, Postino (free) and PicCard (99 cents) into its service, will print your cards on high-quality paper, and send them worldwide.

Postino is a good example of how the service can work. You snap a picture with the iPhone camera, choose a frame, draw an accompanying letter or signature, and enter the address details of the recipient. The app can plus send cards via newsletter, whether you’d prefer not to pay for the physical service.
